LOBSTER POT TOURNAMENT - Barnstable Youth Hockey Association, Inc.
A Message From Tournament Director Steve Devlin

The Lobster Pot began years ago as a grand finale to the local mite and mini-mite seasons.  For most kids,
The Lobster Pot was not only their first tournament, but in some cases, their first time ever playing The Long Way down the rink.  Popularity grew, and 13 years later, we are including all mite levels. In 2011 we had over 56 teams and more than 900 participants!

The success of this event has and always will hinge on the attitudes of the coaches and parents.  The Lobster Pot is not about winning or losing.  After 13 years I can't even remember the winners. But I remember the smiles and the happy faces on all the kids as they warmed up to cool rock and roll music, stood on the blue line for their first National Anthem, and walked through the lobby with the greatest trophy they'd ever seen.

This is The Lobster Pot spirit.  Please leave your egos and regular season records at the door.  Let the referees ref, the coaches coach, and let the kids have three days of big time rock and roll hockey fun.

Welcome to Lobster Pot Nation!
